I started this blog as I love telling stories and enjoy watching them spring to life on the page. I think the little details are the equivalent of the brushstrokes of a painting, they breathe life into the sketch or draft. I tell my stories through my eyes. It may not be how everyone else sees things.  Who  knows for sure when we say something like ‘That’s green!’  that we are really seeing the same shade…and do we need to , to enjoy things?

I am passionate about my family, eating good food and travelling, so predominantly my stories involve those themes. I’m also intrigued by the idea of the past and how they sometimes mingle in the present in many varied forms. I have lots of those stories to tell too .

This blog is my chance to share  a bit of me ‘out there’.
