Whether the weather be good

The weather has been crazy lately. Heatwaves, so cold we need overcoats, huge violent storms and even a mini tornado today and I live just out of Sydney! I’ve included a few of my  weather shots .

How’s it been where you are?

A mum to 2 grown up children who always make me proud, a wife and a full time school teacher. I love eating great food but am not motivated to cook. Love traveling around this great country in which I live. Often found traveling with my husband Brian. I write for pleasure and if it's read (and enjoyed) by others then that's a bonus! 2014 saw me begin the 'new' me. Working hard at leaving the fear of 'what if' behind and replacing it with YOLO adventures. :)

  1. Oooh, very nice – and I’ve worked out how to do ‘ants’ 😀

  2. Stormy. Do you live near Hornsby? I saw on the news that Hornsby was hit with a mini tornado (how do you define a mini tornado? A tornado is a tornado). I went to school in Blacktown so I’m familiar with parts of Sydney. (and this also explains my families obsession with the Eels).
Anyway, here in SE Qld we’ve been hit with some wild weather as well. The worst of it has gone around it but I’ve caught some awesome weather shots this week as well. I should share them on my blog.
Today I blogged about fine weather 🙂 lol

    • I have just come from reading your blog actually…we crossed paths haha. Im not that far from Hornsby as the crow flies though i doubt it would have flown then 🙂 Im on the central coast though lived near parramatta the first half of my life (Go EELS LOL). I had friends at football from Blacktown maybe we crossed paths then too. Six degrees of separation. Look forward to the storm photos. i love storms

  3. Winter is determined to pay us a visit, though we had a couple “nice” days lately. Sorry to hear your weather has been so unsettled.

  4. Yesterday, here in Cairns, we had downpours; my 10-year-old went out splashing in the mud puddles for over an hour. It’s great to be a kid sometimes!

    • When I was little I loved walking in the rain in gumboots. We used to wear gumboots on our walk to school then changed into slippers…yes slippers …for the school day. I bet your girl had the best time playing in the mud and puddles

  5. Hey Kerry-Anne, thanks for the link, I thought I’d drop in and say hello … yay !

This was last year, has the weather sorted itself out ?

I enjoy reading comments so don't forget to add one please :)
